CDF Bio-Core

Forms a protective film over the core and on the walls of the bore hole. Poly-Core reduces water invasion into hydratable dispersive clays and shale, providing excellent cuttings encapsulation and borehole stability.

Poly-Core is also very effective at stabilizing loose, friable formations. Poly-Core is used to form a single product low solids fluid system or can be combined with high yield Bentonite to prepare a complete fluid system and is effective when added to inhibitive salt systems such as NaCl and KCl based fluids.

CDF Sand-Core

Developed as an alternative to using Bentonite or where Bentonite based products are prohibited for use. Sand-Core enters the pores of sands and gravels to quickly form a thick gel-like barrier to fuse and support the bore-hole. Sand-Core is tolerant to high down-hole pressures and temperature and has a reasonable tolerance to saline and hard water environments.

CDF Xan-Vis

A premium quality biopolymer powder designed to provide maximum solids suspension and hole cleaning in vertical and highly deviated holes. Xan-Vis is a distinctive product able to produce a thixotropic shear thinning fluid. Xan-Vis also acts as a very effective mud filtrate Viscosifier

Xan-Vis can be added to a pre-hydrated bentonite-based fluid or can be used as a single Viscosifying additive in fresh, brackish, or saturated salt water. Xan-Vis fluids are highly shear thinning which improves bit cleaning and ROP significantly.

The fluid will revert to higher viscosities at low shear rates. This unique property provides many benefits in highly deviated wells by providing excellent carrying capacity of coarse cuttings, sand, and gravel.
